anners magazine

Bright red-orange colored magazine 'anners - unangenehm gut' with an illustrated woman with teal colored hair on the cover page who's trying to shush someone by putting her index finger infront of her mouth

The
project

Over the course of two semesters, the study program magazine "anners" was created (North German accent way of saying "anders" = different).

In 17 articles on a total of 82 pages, we write openly about controversial topics and break with taboos. We students spent a year dealing with the taboos we encountered: Drugs, illnesses, unachieved ideals, failure, and much more.

To find out more about the online version, have a look here.

Publishing the magazine included many different tasks, among others: searching for relevant topics, writing articles, making design and production decisions and implementing an online version.

Each student was responsible for the content and layout of his/her own article.

In my article, I write about dealing with MS in a family member.

My main responsibilities included the layout development and the implementation of the website.

The
result

The magazine is printed in black plus two special colors: a vibrant orange-pink and an intense teal.

1,500 copies of "anners" were printed and distributed free of charge in public places in Bremerhaven and Bremen.

The corresponding website can be found here: www.anners-magazin.de/. For more info about the website process see here.
